Rosehip of the 'Grosevich' variety is an early-yielding shrub about 1.5 m tall, which establishes quickly and bears fruit already in the second year after planting. Seedlings are grown in our own nursery and are distinguished by high frost resistance and moderate disease resistance. The plant prefers sunny spots, has a closed root system, and grows optimally at a distance between bushes of 1.5 to 2 m.
The fruits of 'Grosevich' are large, weighing about 8–9 grams, dark red with a loose pulp of medium juiciness. The taste combines sour-sweet notes, and the aroma is moderate, making them ideal for both consumption and preservation, as well as for decorative purposes. The ripening period is mid-August, which allows for the use of berries immediately after harvesting.
The variety is distinguished by high establishment (99.99%) and good yield up to 2 kg per tree. It suits both small gardens and large vegetable plots thanks to compact growth and moderate height. Due to its nutritional properties, the 'Grosevich' rosehip is widely used in medicine and cuisine, and can also serve as a decorative element in landscape design.
