HARBIN

The Harbin radish variety is a medium-early type intended for early spring and summer sowing. The period from germination to root crop harvest is about 40-50 days, allowing for a quick harvest. This variety was bred in the city of Harbin in northern China and is characterized by high frost tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

The Harbin radish root is round, has a rich raspberry-red color, and reaches significant sizes - the diameter can reach up to 10 cm, and the mass ranges from 200 to 300 grams. The root flesh is snow-white, juicy, and sweet, giving the vegetable a pleasant taste and making it attractive to consumers. When ripe, the roots protrude above the ground by about a third, they do not turn green or crack, indicating high resistance of the variety to adverse conditions.

Harbin radish is well-preserved, which allows it to be used not only immediately after harvest but also for a period of time without loss of quality. Due to its large size, sweet taste, and cold resistance, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. It is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for preparing various dishes where the juiciness and sweetness of radish are valued.
