Description Brutus
Brutus F1 cucumber is an early parthenocarpic hybrid with a vegetation period of 32-37 days, designed for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The plant is distinguished by its strong root system and sturdy side shoots, which ensure its resilience to stress conditions, temperature fluctuations, and insufficient lighting. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for spring and autumn rotations, as well as for various soil and climate conditions.

Brutus fruits have the correct cylindrical shape, measuring 10-14 cm in length and 3-3.5 cm in width, with a length-to-width ratio of approximately 3.1-3.3:1. They are dark green in color, without ridges or hollows inside, featuring a pleasant sweet taste and aroma. The fruits do not deform or form doubles, which facilitates their harvesting and makes the hybrid particularly attractive for fresh market and processing. The long fruit stem contributes to the convenience of harvesting.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield—45 to 50 cucumbers form on one plant, with 3-5 fruits in each node, sometimes up to 7-9, and there is no abortion. The plant has an open structure with short suckers and a height of about 2 meters. Brutus is resistant to major diseases, including powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, cucumber mosaic, and other viral infections, making it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners. The absence of bitterness and excellent taste qualities make this hybrid a leader among early cucumbers.
