Radish Khozyayushka

The «Khozyayushka» Radish: Early Harvest Reliability

In the segment of ultra-early vegetable crops, the «Khozyayushka» (Housewife) variety by Agrofirma Poisk has established itself as a reliable choice for growers seeking high efficiency. Developed by breeders N.N. Klimenko and S.V. Maksimov, this variety is optimized for intensive cultivation in both greenhouses and open fields.

Key Performance Indicators

The standout characteristic of this variety is its exceptionally short vegetation period. From germination to harvest, the crop is ready in just 18–20 days. This rapid maturation cycle allows the radish to avoid the peak activity of many common agricultural pests and makes it an ideal candidate for crop rotation sequences.

• Root Characteristics: Features a bright red color with a consistent round-oval shape.
• Weight: Maintains a stable yield weight between 25 and 30 grams.
• Versatility: Suitable for both spring and winter planting cycles.

The reputation of Agrofirma Poisk is cemented by the consistent quality of their seed stock. «Khozyayushka» is known for its uniform germination and harvest-ready root size, which is critical for commercial growers focusing on bunch sales. The firm, crisp flesh contains no internal voids, providing the superior flavor profile that both home gardeners and professional farmers have come to expect from this reliable Russian variety.
