Radish Severyanka

Stability of the Northern Latitudes

The 'Severyanka' radish is the result of extensive breeding work by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. Unlike most early-maturing hybrids focused on rapid harvest, this variety demonstrates impressive weight indicators, setting it apart in the large-root vegetable segment. A single root weight of 400–600 grams is rare for this crop, making 'Severyanka' the choice for those prioritizing high market yield and volume.

Agrotechnological Profile

Developed by Russian experts, this variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of regions with moderate and cool environments. Its ripening period of 40–50 days allows for scheduled conveyor production throughout the spring, summer, and autumn seasons. The bright red color of the root vegetables ensures excellent commercial appeal on supermarket shelves and local markets, maintaining quality during transportation.

• Originators: Vegetable Experimental Station, Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, and Ustinovo Seed Station.
• Root Weight: An impressive 400–600 grams.
