Zarevo

The Zarevo radish variety is an early-maturing and highly productive cultivar featuring cylindrical roots in pink-red color, weighing between 150 and 300 grams. The roots have a rounded top, juicy and tender white flesh, possessing excellent taste qualities. This variety is recommended for fresh consumption and is characterized by stable yield and uniformity of roots, making it convenient for cultivation and harvesting.

Zarevo is noted for its high storability, which allows maintaining radish quality during winter storage. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas with fertile loamy or loamy-sandy soil. Sowing seeds is typically conducted in March-April, followed by thinning and transplanting seedlings to open ground from mid-May to early June. Winter sowing in late October is also possible with mulching of crops with peat or sawdust, which contributes to hardening of plants and enhancing their frost resistance.

The variety is distinguished by high cold hardiness and can withstand frosts down to -3 to -4°C, which expands the growing season and increases crop reliability. Zarevo is suitable for fresh produce and garden decoration, thanks to its attractive appearance and stable agronomic characteristics.
