Strawberry Rozana Kyivska

Stable harvests even under tough conditions

"Rozana Kyivska" is a product of the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS, firmly established in the fields of Ukrainian farmers. This variety is chosen by those who prioritize reliability and adaptability over exotic novelties. Unlike more delicate foreign varieties, this cultivar stands out due to its high resilience. The plant successfully survives frost down to -25°C, making it an excellent choice for regions with unpredictable winters.

Agronomic performance

With a ripening period of 35-40 days, Rozana Kyivska is a perfect early-season starter. The berries are impressively large, with an average weight of 40-60 grams. Its conical shape and vibrant bright red color give the harvest a highly attractive commercial appearance.

• Yield: consistently high, exceeding 2 kg per plant, which makes it suitable for commercial production.
• Immunity: breeders have focused heavily on resistance to the main threats of strawberry plantations, such as gray mold, powdery mildew, and leaf spot.

Is this variety for you?

Rozana Kyivska is designed for versatile use. Thanks to its firm flesh, it withstands transportation well while maintaining its quality. It is equally excellent for fresh consumption and all types of processing. This is an ideal choice for growers who want to minimize chemical interventions on their fields by leveraging the variety's high natural resistance.

Strengths: high frost resistance, uniform ripening, and excellent resistance to fungal diseases. Weaknesses: requires consistent care and regular irrigation to achieve maximum berry weight.
