Raspberry 'Kalininingradskaya' is a mid-early variety with high yield and stable fruiting. The bushes of this variety are upright, semi-spreading, reaching up to 250 cm in height. Canes have a waxy bloom, turn reddish in autumn, and two-year canes are thick, brown, and prickly with soft thorns located mainly in the lower part. The variety is characterized by moderate cane forming ability and good hardiness, but shelter is recommended for successful wintering in the absence of snow cover. 'Kalininingradskaya' raspberries are large, weighing from 2.2 to 4 grams, red in color and broadly blunt-conical in shape with pubescence. The flesh is juicy, sour-sweet with a pronounced aroma, has a soft texture and small, almost invisible seeds. Drupelets are of medium size, firmly connected to each other, giving the berries density. Due to their taste qualities and juiciness, the berries are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Although the berries do not differ in high transportability, they are well preserved in a fresh state. 'Kalininingradskaya' raspberry is characterized by resistance to chlorosis and viral diseases, although its frost resistance is moderate. The yield is high - from 8 to 10 tons per hectare, which makes this variety attractive for commercial cultivation. Fruiting occurs annually, the variety is self-fertile and universal in application. Due to its characteristics, 'Kalininingradskaya' raspberry is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, especially in regions with a moderate climate.
