Clery

Clery is an early-maturing Italian variety of strawberry, distinguished by its high yield and excellent flavor. The berries are large, conical in shape, weighing from 35 to 50 grams, with a bright red or crimson color and characteristic gloss. The flesh is firm, very juicy, sweet with a slight acidity and a rich aroma, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption as well as for making jams, jellies, and confectionery decorations.

Plants of the Clery variety are vigorous growers with compact bushes—up to 30 cm in height. The leaves are dark green, and sturdy flower stems reliably hold the berries, facilitating harvest. The variety is resistant to fungal diseases, root and leaf diseases, and possesses high cold and drought tolerance. The flowers of Clery strawberries withstand frost well, expanding the range of suitable growing conditions.

Clery is versatile in cultivation—it suits both open ground and greenhouse conditions. It prefers sunny areas with fertile, light, and loose soils, requiring regular watering. Due to its high transportability and excellent commercial qualities, this variety is widely used in commercial cultivation. From one bush, you can harvest 1.5 to 1.8 kg of tasty and aromatic berries per season.
