Yaroslavna raspberry variety, also known as "Yellow Brusviana", is a medium-ripening remontant variety with a prolonged fruiting period. The plants have a bushy form, reach a height of about 1.7 meters, and are characterized by weak branching, forming approximately 5–6 shoots per year. Fruiting begins at the start of August and continues until the end of September, although some descriptions indicate the possibility of harvesting berries from July to October. Yield is high — up to 4–4.5 kg of berries can be harvested from one bush.
The berries of Yaroslavna raspberry are medium-sized, weighing 4–6 grams, with a round-conical shape and bright yellow color. The flesh has medium density, juicy, sweet, and aromatic, which provides a high taste rating for the variety at 4.5–5 points. Due to its universal flavor, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing.
For successful cultivation of Yaroslavna raspberry, it is recommended to choose sunny areas with fertile and well-drained soil, ensuring regular watering. Seedlings are planted in spring after the last frost or in autumn in October–November, ensuring that the leaves on the plants have not yet begun to develop for better establishment. After harvest, bushes are pruned to 25–30 cm, which promotes good winter survival and abundant fruiting in the next season. The variety has high cold hardiness and moderate resistance to major diseases, making it suitable for cultivation in regions with cold winters.
