Strawberry MOSCOW DELICACY

Consistent Yield with Moskovskiy Delikates

The remontant strawberry "Moskovskiy Delikates" from the Dutch company ABZ Aardbeien uit Zaad is designed for those who value continuous production throughout the season. Unlike many classic varieties, this hybrid is genetically programmed for extended fruiting: you will harvest bright red, conical berries in successive waves from early summer until the first hard frosts.

Key Advantages

• Size and Quality: Berries reach 40–60 grams, placing this variety in the large-fruit category. The firm flesh makes the fruits ideal for transport, while the vibrant flavor and aroma make them perfect for both fresh consumption and culinary processing.
• Cultivation Versatility: The variety is equally productive in open fields and greenhouses. Due to its high disease resistance, it is forgiving of minor agronomic errors, requiring only standard watering and fertilization schedules.
• Yield Potential: With a yield of 1.2–1.5 kg per plant per season, this variety excels by focusing on consistent, long-term output rather than a single, short-lived harvest.

Points to Consider

The frost resistance is moderate (down to -18°C), so in regions with harsh, snowless winters, plants require protective cover or mulching. "Moskovskiy Delikates" is an optimal solution for growers seeking a balance between a professional-looking fruit and ease of cultivation. It outperforms many traditional varieties due to its hardiness and fast maturation cycle, allowing you to harvest your first berries just 60 days after transplanting.
