MOLLING PANDORA

British variety Pandora, gaining tremendous popularity. It is highly productive. Its large, firm, and tasty berries begin to ripen exactly when most other strawberries have already finished.


Pandora is one of the latest maturing varieties. Berries are large, round, uniformly sized, firm, with a tart-sweet flavor close to dessert quality. Berry susceptibility to rot may be significant in wet weather, as flower stems with heavy yields may lie flat on the ground or mulch, but such problems usually do not occur. It can produce a considerable amount of runners if the summer is humid, less in dry conditions. It is strongly susceptible to spotting diseases. Mites infest the plants weakly. Cold hardiness in early winter is low.
