Strawberry Anastasia

The 'Anastasia' strawberry variety is a medium-late or medium-early variety featuring a powerful, upright, and well-leafed bush. The leaves are large, dark green with a waxy coating, while the petioles are thick and densely hairy. The flowers are perfect (hermaphroditic), creamy, and round, forming semi-lax inflorescences with multiple flowers. The runners are of medium length, numerous, and dark green, which aids in good plant propagation.

The 'Anastasia' berries have a blunt-conical shape without a neck and a red color. The average berry weight ranges from 6 to 7 grams, containing approximately 6.4% sugars and 1.3% acids, providing a sweet-and-sour taste with a slight tartness. The taste rating reaches 4.2 points. Due to their taste qualities, the berries are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making desserts.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases, pests, and frost, which significantly eases care and cultivation. The yield per plant can reach up to 1.4 kg per season, while the average yield is about 81.3 centners per hectare.
