The Zaluchevskaya strawberry variety is a mid-early, non-everbearing variety characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to freezing. The bushes of this variety are vertical, compact, and well-leafed, with medium-sized, green, wrinkled, and moderately serrated leaves. The plant runners are colored in bright anthocyanin hue and covered with pubescence; their quantity is significant. The flowers are hermaphroditic, white, with peduncles positioned above the level of the leaves, and the inflorescences have a semi-spreading form. The berries of the Zaluchevskaya variety have an average mass of about 6.5 grams, a maximum of up to 14.8 grams, an egg-shaped form without a neck, and a saturated red color. The flesh is light red, dense, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a pleasant aroma. The berries contain about 4.9-5% sugars, 1% acids, and an elevated amount of vitamin C - up to 81.2 mg per 100 grams. The taste tasting score reaches 4.6 points, indicating high fruit quality. The yield of the Zaluchevskaya variety is approximately 104 centners per hectare, making it attractive for cultivation in agriculture. The variety shows weak susceptibility to diseases and pests, which eases care and increases collection stability. Due to its characteristics and origin from the Republic of Buryatia, this variety is well-adapted to the conditions of the West Siberian region and is suitable for universal use.
