Majestic raspberry variety — a new remontant variety developed by Plant Sciences in 2020. Bushes feature tall, up to 1.9–2 meters, thorny canes. Berries have an attractive pointed shape with small, even drupelets and a sweet taste. The average fruit weight is 6–7 grams, and berry size remains consistent throughout the entire fruiting period. Due to high transportability, berries retain freshness for long periods and can be transported over long distances, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation and fresh market sales. Majestic has an exceptionally long fruiting period and can fruit twice a year — in summer and autumn. With a single autumn harvest, yield reaches up to 1.5 kg per bush, and with two fruiting periods, up to 2.5 kg. The variety exhibits high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good winter and heat tolerance. The root suckers of Majestic are of average quantity, which simplifies plant care. For successful cultivation of Majestic raspberry, it is recommended to plant bushes on well-lit areas with loamy soils. Regular cane pruning is necessary to maintain high yield and plant health. The variety is suitable for both commercial farms cultivating berries in greenhouses and outdoors, and for hobby gardeners who value large, aromatic, and transportable raspberries.
