Raspberry YELLOW GIANT

The 'Yellow Giant' raspberry variety is a semi-remontant variety with early ripening, characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. The berries are large, weighing from 5 to 8 grams, elongated-conical in shape, and bright yellow in color with a glossy surface. They have a very sweet taste with a pleasant raspberry aroma, making them some of the sweetest among yellow raspberry varieties. The ripening period lasts from early July to mid-August, and the variety is capable of producing a small second crop in autumn on the tops of one-year-old shoots.

The 'Yellow Giant' bushes are powerful and tall, reaching heights from 1.5 to 2.5 meters, with thick and strong shoots that form up to 8-10 new shoots per season. The plant is sprawling with a well-developed root system, which promotes the active formation of root suckers (up to 6-7 pieces). The shoots have a moderate number of thorns and are characterized by low thorniness, which facilitates plant care. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as high frost and drought resistance, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions.

The yield of the variety is high and varies from 5 to 12 kg per bush depending on growing conditions. Due to the good transportability and shelf-life of the berries, 'Yellow Giant' is suitable for both personal consumption and commercial cultivation. The variety is undemanding in care, does not require bending for winter, which simplifies agrotechnology. All these qualities make 'Yellow Giant' an attractive choice for gardeners seeking a stable and tasty yield of yellow raspberries.
