Cosmic

The Cosmic raspberry variety is a remontant type with high yield and large berries. The bushes are of medium height — from 120 to 180 cm — with strong upright canes without thorns, which facilitates harvesting. Canes grow actively and bear fruit without requiring thinning or support structures. Recommended planting scheme — with an interval of about one meter. The variety is resistant to extreme conditions, including cold and drought, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. The berries of the Cosmic raspberry are large, conical in shape, and bright red with a glossy sheen. Average berry weight ranges from 5 to 9 grams, with a maximum diameter reaching 22 mm. The fruits have a dense structure, ensuring long-term storage and excellent transportability. The flavor is sweet, with a distinct raspberry aroma, and nearly invisible seeds make consumption especially pleasant. The size and shape of the berries remain stable throughout the harvesting period, which is particularly valuable for commercial cultivation. Fruit production lasts from June–July and continues until October–November, allowing enjoyment of fresh berries over several months. For a single harvest, pruning the bushes in late autumn or early spring is recommended to stimulate growth of new fruiting canes and improve winter hardiness. Due to its high yield and fruit quality, Cosmic raspberry is popular both for fresh consumption and for freezing, making jams and desserts.
