Radish Poloneza

Efficient Production with Poloneza Radish by Moravoseed

For professional growers seeking consistent results in early vegetable production, the Poloneza radish variety from the Czech breeder Moravoseed is a reliable choice. Designed for high-intensity farming, this variety performs exceptionally well during both spring and autumn cultivation cycles, helping growers maintain a steady supply to the market throughout the season.

Crop Management and Harvest Cycles

Poloneza offers predictable maturity, with a harvest window ranging from 25 to 35 days depending on the growing environment. This flexibility allows farmers to implement staggered planting schedules in both greenhouse and open-field conditions. Key benefits for your farm include:

• Market Appeal: The perfectly round, vibrant red roots ensure a premium presentation, which is essential for wholesale and retail distribution.
• Uniformity: High seed vigor and genetic stability lead to uniform root development, significantly reducing sorting and packing labor.
• Flexibility: The roots maintain their internal texture well, resisting the common issues of pithiness or cracking if harvest is slightly delayed.

Practical Cultivation Tips

To maximize the yield of Poloneza, consistent soil moisture management is essential. Providing steady irrigation during the root development phase prevents deformation and helps reach the optimal market weight within the desired timeframe. Developed by Moravoseed CZ a.s., this variety is bred to handle the temperature fluctuations typical of the shoulder seasons, making it a robust asset for early spring production when light levels are still recovering.

When planning your planting schedule, focus on maintaining optimal plant spacing to allow for proper airflow and root expansion. With Poloneza, growers benefit from the reputation of Moravoseed’s genetics, which prioritize high germination rates and field performance, ultimately improving the bottom line of your vegetable production cycle.
