SWEET CRUNCH is an early-maturing radish variety intended for cultivation in open and protected ground. It forms a crop already 18-20 days after germination, which allows obtaining fresh roots in a short time. The radish differs with excellent market appearance: roots are uniform, bright and dense, weighing from 17 to 25 grams, with an average length of about 6 cm and a diameter of 2-2.5 cm. The flesh is white, crisp and juicy, without voids, which ensures a pleasant texture when consumed.
The taste of the SWEET CRUNCH radish differs in balance – it is slightly spicy, but at the same time with pronounced sweetness and a refreshing effect, without bitterness. This makes it an excellent choice for fresh salads and other dishes where a delicate and pleasant taste is important. The variety has resistance to bolting, which allows longer maintaining the market appearance and quality of roots.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds to a depth of about 2 cm with subsequent thinning of seedlings after the appearance of the first true leaf. To ensure a continuous harvest throughout the season, seeds can be sown several times with an interval of 15-20 days. Plants need timely watering, weeding and soil loosening, which contributes to the formation of high-quality and tasty roots. The yield of the variety is 1.5-1.8 kg per square meter, which makes it productive and convenient for cultivation both in home conditions and for commercial purposes.
