Mazurka is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper of Dutch selection, intended for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground. The plant is medium-sized, with a strong root system and abundant foliage, which ensures good resistance to heat and adverse conditions. The fruits have a cuboid shape with four chambers, are fleshy and juicy, weighing from 200 to 250 grams. Their length reaches 9-15 cm, while the wall thickness is 7-9 mm. During the stage of technical maturity, the fruits are dark green, and at biological maturity, they become bright red. The flesh is characterized by a pleasant sweet taste and elastic structure. The Mazurka hybrid is characterized by high resistance to a number of diseases, including blossom end rot, bacterial spot, potato Y-virus, and tobravirus. Thanks to this, the plant demonstrates stable growth and high productivity. Planting density for greenhouses is about 3 plants per square meter, and for open ground - 30-35 thousand plants per hectare. The fruits maintain their market appearance and taste qualities during long-term transportation and storage, which makes them in demand both for fresh consumption and for processing, canning, and freezing. For successful cultivation of Mazurka, it is important to adhere to agrotechnical recommendations, including moderate drip irrigation and application of complex fertilizers. The plant responds well to soil preparation and proper selection of predecessors. Thanks to its characteristics and resistance to stress, this hybrid is suitable for various climatic conditions and ensures a stable yield of high-quality fruits.
