Description Sosulka
Red Radish variety 'Ice Soda' is a mid-season, high-yielding variety with white, conical root crops reaching up to 15 cm in length and weighing 30-50 g. This radish is distinguished by its juicy, firm flesh and pleasant medium-spicy flavor with a refreshing zesty note; it does not become bitter or hard/empty upon overripening. Thanks to its white skin and flesh, it serves as an excellent alternative to traditional red-fleshed varieties during the summer, enriching the body with vitamins C, B, PP, as well as trace elements such as potassium, calcium, sulfur, and magnesium. Its low caloric content makes it healthy and diet-friendly.

The 'Ice Soda' variety is characterized by high disease resistance, particularly to powdery mildew, as well as resistance to bolting and hollow cores. The radish is cold-hardy, tolerates stress conditions well, and is easy to care for, allowing it to be grown both in open ground and under film covers. Successful growth requires full sunlight and increased soil moisture. Fruits ripen simultaneously, which facilitates harvest collection, which typically occurs 25-35 days after sowing.

Growing 'Ice Soda' radish is possible in spring and autumn, with a seed sowing rate of 1.5-2.0 g per square meter and a planting depth of 1-3 cm. Plants are spaced at intervals of 15 by 5 cm. The variety's yield is from 1.5 to 2.5 kg per square meter. Root crops retain freshness for a long time without special storage conditions, making them in demand on the market and convenient for home use. Radish is consumed fresh, added to vitamin salads or eaten on its own, which allows for maximum utilization of its beneficial properties.
