Description Morama F1
Savoy cabbage Morama F1 is a medium-late hybrid developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. This hybrid is a transitional type between head cabbage and savoy cabbage, combining the best qualities of both. The plant forms large, dense, compact heads of round shape weighing from 1.8 to 4 kg with a pleasant light-green hue and short head. The leaves of Morama F1 are smoother than traditional savoy cabbage, with strong structure and attractive coloration, making this hybrid particularly interesting for processing, including drying, due to its high dry matter content.

The hybrid shows high resistance to diseases such as fusarium, bacterial diseases, and damage from thrips, ensuring excellent plant health and stable yields. The root system is well-developed, enhancing growth strength and resistance to temperature fluctuations. Morama F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover or in greenhouses, where earlier and higher yields are possible. Planting is recommended from April to the end of June at a density of 27,000–45,000 plants per hectare.

The maturation period of the hybrid is 100–110 days, harvest is conducted from August to November. Morama F1 is characterized by uniform head maturation, high yield up to 8–10 kg per square meter, excellent storability, and retention of freshness without loss of market quality. The cabbage is not prone to cracking or damage, making it convenient for transport and long-term storage. Due to its even leaf layering and dense internal quality, the hybrid ensures high yield of marketable product during processing.
