Radish Korsar

Early-maturing classic for your vegetable garden

The 'Korsar' radish variety from the Gavrish breeding firm has long established a reputation as a reliable 'sprinter' in the seed market. Developed by the team led by Sergey Fedorovich Gavrish, this variety is aimed at those who value predictability and the speed of obtaining the first vitamin-rich harvest.

Agronomic features and potential

The main advantage of 'Korsar' lies in its ability to quickly form a marketable root crop. The growing season is only 20–25 days, making it an ideal choice for both spring and summer sowing. In conditions of long daylight, the variety shows excellent resistance to bolting, which is a critical factor for regions with the risk of late frosts or a rapid transition to hot summer weather.

• Appearance and weight: The root vegetables have a classic round shape and a rich, bright red color that maintains its commercial quality even during transport. The average weight of a single fruit varies from 30 to 40 grams, classifying it as a fairly large-fruited variety for its segment.
• Application: Thanks to its tender, juicy flesh without cavities, the variety is perfect for preparing spring salads and commercial processing.

Choosing 'Korsar' means betting on proven breeding. In an era where many hybrids appear, this variety remains a benchmark of stability for small-scale farming, ensuring uniform germination and even ripening of the entire batch.
