Description FIREBIRD RADISH
The Firebird radish variety is a medium-maturing vegetable ready for harvest 25-30 days after seedlings emerge. The roots have an oval shape with a flat top and a bright red color, giving them an attractive appearance. The radish flesh is white, tender, and juicy, with each root weighing between 20 and 22 grams, making it convenient for fresh consumption.

This variety is known for its excellent taste and is suitable for use in salads, side dishes, and other recipes. The plant prefers full sun and grows well in loamy, sandy loam, and peat soils with a neutral or slightly acidic pH. The optimal temperature range for cultivation is between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. Radishes are moisture-loving and require frequent watering during germination and early growth.

Firebird is suitable for early sowing in both open and protected ground. For winter sowing, seeds should be sown 2-3 cm deep. Sowing is typically done in April-May at a depth of 3 cm with a planting scheme of 45 x 3-5 cm. Harvest occurs in May-June, allowing for an early and high-yielding radish with excellent taste characteristics.
