The potato variety VERA is a mid-early table variety characterized by high yield and good taste qualities. This variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for many regions. Plants of medium height with semi-erect or spreading growth habit have light-green medium-sized leaves and purple-red flower clusters, giving them an attractive appearance.

The VERA potato tubers are oval-round in shape with very small eyes, covered with smooth white skin. The flesh is light-yellow, with individual tuber weight ranging from 59 to 110 grams. Starch content is within 10.5-15.8%, ensuring good mashability and suitability for various culinary recipes. Tubers have a marketability of 86-91% and a storage capacity of 98%, guaranteeing long-term storage without quality loss.

One of the key advantages of the VERA variety is its high disease resistance. The potato is resistant to potato cancer pathogen, golden potato cyst nematode, and shows resistance to late blight on foliage with moderate resistance on tubers.
