Talent — mid-early table variety, recommended for processing into french fries and dried potatoes. The variety is characterized by extremely low susceptibility to black spot disease, despite its high starch content (17%). Combining very low tendency to darkening of tubers when raw and after cooking, high quality stability, and outstanding flavor, Talent is a versatile variety. It has excellent flavor and a creamy texture after cooking (boiling type B-C). Being a long-storing variety, it shows relatively slow early development. Plants are medium-sized, from semi-upright to upright, intermediate type, forming a moderate number of white flowers. Storage quality is very good. Very long storage period.
