The Ronaldo variety exhibits high resistance to several diseases and stress factors. It shows good resistance to late blight, common scab, leaf phytophthora, as well as nematode resistance to Ro1 and Ro4. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high resistance to PVYn and PVYntn viruses, as well as to black spots, which helps maintain tuber quality during storage and transport. However, its resistance to tuber phytophthora is low, requiring attention during cultivation and storage.
