Carrera potato variety — an early-maturing variety developed by the Dutch company HZPC Holland B.V. The vegetation period is 80-90 days, allowing for a harvest in a short time. The plants of this variety are upright, low or medium height, with matte medium-sized leaves and red-purple flowers, giving the plant an attractive appearance.

Carrera tubers have round or oval shape with smooth pale-yellow skin and small, barely noticeable eyes, resulting in a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface. The flesh is yellow in color, with starch content ranging from 13.8% to 17.2%, providing excellent taste and culinary qualities. Each plant can produce 7 to 9 tubers weighing from 120 to 230 grams, contributing to high yield — from 330 to 610 centners per hectare.

The variety is characterized by good storability and high resistance to late blight and common potato viral diseases. These qualities allow minimizing the use of chemical plant protection products, making Carrera a reliable and economical choice for cultivation. Due to its combination of high productivity, disease resistance, and attractive tuber appearance, this variety is popular among farmers and gardeners.
