Katrin is a mid-early sunflower hybrid with a vegetation period of 110 to 120 days, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 150 to 170 cm, and the head diameter is 22-24 cm. The weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 55 to 65 grams, indicating high-quality seed material. The hybrid is characterized by strong initial growth energy and a well-developed root system, ensuring resistance to adverse environmental factors. One of the key features of Katrin is its high resistance to diseases and stress. The hybrid shows resistance to diseases such as Phomopsis, powdery mildew, white and gray mold, as well as to fomosis and downy mildew. Additionally, it is resistant to herbicides, including tribenuron-methyl and imazamox, which simplifies crop maintenance and increases plant protection efficiency. Katrin also demonstrates high resistance to lodging, heat, and cold, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under extreme conditions. The hybrid's yield potential ranges from 3.5 to 5 tons per hectare, with oil content reaching 49-54%, and oleic acid content up to 85%, ensuring high-quality oil. Seeds are treated with the fungicide Maxim HL 350 FS for disease protection during early growth stages. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, Katrin is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine and Russia, ensuring stable and high yields even under challenging climatic conditions.
