Sunflower ES MONALISA is a high-yielding ultra-early hybrid designed for cultivation in central, western, and northern regions of Ukraine, as well as in the Polesie and Forest-Steppe zones. This hybrid features a short vegetation period — 90-100 days — enabling early harvest. Plants reach a height of about 150 cm, have a flower head diameter of 23 cm, and a 1000-seed mass of approximately 62 grams. High yield potential reaches up to 45 centners per hectare, equivalent to approximately 4.5 tons per hectare. Seeds contain up to 51% oil, making this hybrid particularly attractive for oilseed production.
ES MONALISA is characterized by high resistance to various sunflower diseases, including downy mildew (strains A-E), Phomopsis, sclerotinia (both heads and stems), rust, and verticillium. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance and resistance to lodging due to its sturdy medium-thickness stem. The energy of initial growth is at a high level, facilitating successful plant development under various soil-climatic conditions.
Hybrid ES MONALISA is recommended for intensive cultivation, effectively utilizes soil moisture reserves, and demonstrates stable yield performance across different regions. Seeds are packaged in bags of 150,000 seeds, convenient for sowing and storage. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, disease resistance, and resilience to adverse conditions, this sunflower is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality and high-yield harvests.
