About product
Description
The fruits of Hungarian Donetsk are large, weighing 25 to 35 grams, oval or tear-shaped with a characteristic neck. The skin is blue with a bluish waxy coating, dense and tough, ensuring high transportability and suitability for short-distance transport. The flesh is bright green or white, dense, juicy, and very crisp when slightly underripe, becoming softer and melting when fully ripe. The taste is very sweet with a mild pleasant acidity, lacking any specific plum flavor, making it one of the most delicious plum varieties. The stone is small, oval, and usually semi-detachable from the flesh.
The Hungarian Donetsk variety is widely used for both fresh consumption and processing, especially for producing high-quality juice with pulp. The fruits can remain on the tree for a long time while retaining their dessert-like flavor, which is a major advantage for home gardening. Yield per tree can reach up to 40 kg, making this variety attractive to gardeners who value the combination of taste, yield, and storage convenience.
