Description Antei
Sweet pepper Antey is a medium-ripening variety with high yield and excellent taste qualities. The plant is strong, tall, reaching 60-70 cm in height, bushy and leafy, requiring staking and shaping for optimal growth. The variety is resistant to high temperatures and verticillium wilt, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Antey prefers warmth and sunlight, requires regular moderate watering and fertilization to achieve maximum yield potential, which under intensive agronomy can reach 7-8 kg per square meter or 60-70 tons per hectare.

The fruits of pepper Antey are large, weighing 200-300 grams, with a conical-prismatic shape and wall thickness of 6-8 mm. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and in biological ripeness, they turn into a rich red color. The fruits are characterized by high dry matter content (7.0-8.3%), sugars (4.3-6.7%), and ascorbic acid (92.4-128.7 mg%), ensuring good taste and beneficial properties. The variety consistently accumulates ascorbic acid, enhancing its nutritional value.

Antey pepper is grown using seedling method, which allows control over growing conditions and increases yield. Seeds are typically sown in trays, and the age of seedlings is selected depending on the intended use of the product: for processing, seedlings aged 25-45 days are recommended. Planting scheme depends on the irrigation method, for example, under sprinkler irrigation, the optimal distance between plants is 60x25 cm, and under drip irrigation — 90+50x20 cm. Optimal planting density — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to a stable and high yield.
