Atlant

Sweet pepper Atlant is an early-maturing, medium-height variety with conical fruits, popular among gardeners due to its low maintenance and high yield. Plants are semi-determinate with well-developed leafy foliage, resistant to various growing conditions, including temperature changes and agronomic practices. Suitable for cultivation both in open and protected soil, dense planting is allowed, enabling efficient land use and high yields — up to 3-4 kg per square meter.

Atlant fruits are uniform and large in size: length reaches 13-15 cm, diameter 8-9 cm, weight varies from 100 to 190 grams. They have 3-4 chambers and wall thickness of 5-8 mm, ensuring juiciness and crisp flesh with thin skin. Fruits are dark green in technical maturity and turn bright red in biological maturity. Due to high dry matter content, the pepper is excellent for processing, fresh consumption, thermal treatment, canning, and freezing.

Atlant variety exhibits strong immunity to fungal and viral diseases, reducing the risk of yield loss and simplifying care. Vegetation period is approximately 130 days, allowing production for both fresh markets and processing. The pepper responds well to moderate agronomy and fertilization, especially pruning, which promotes abundant fruit set. Harvest is recommended to be stored for no more than 10-14 days due to thin skin, but the variety has good transportability, making it convenient for distribution.
