Description Boneta
The Boneta pepper variety is an early-maturing sweet pepper variety, primarily intended for cultivation in protected environments, although in warmer regions it can be successfully grown outdoors. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 50-60 cm, which facilitates care and harvesting. The maturation period is 85-90 days from germination, enabling an early harvest. The variety is characterized by high yield and drought resistance, as well as good tolerance to high temperatures, making it suitable for various climatic zones, including the Northern, North-Western, and Central regions.

The Boneta pepper fruits have a straight prism-shaped form with 3-4 chambers and thin walls of 5-6 mm thickness. In technical maturity, they are greenish-white, while in biological maturity, they acquire a rich red hue. The average fruit weight is about 130 grams, with a variation ranging from 70 to 200 grams. The fruit surface is glossy, giving them an attractive appearance. Due to their good taste qualities, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for all types of processing and preservation.

For successful cultivation of the Boneta variety, seedlings should be sown in March, followed by transplanting into the soil in May. The plant requires abundant watering and prefers plastic greenhouses, although in warmer regions it can be grown outdoors. Harvesting occurs from July to September. The variety was developed jointly by specialists from the Czech Republic and is characterized by stable productivity and adaptability to various growing conditions.
