Daimos

Daimos F1 is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid of Italian selection, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, as well as in open ground and under temporary covers. The plant is tall, reaching about 1.5 meters in height, with a strong root system and well-developed leaf apparatus, ensuring resistance to heat and stressful growing conditions. Plants require staking and positively respond to regular fertilization, which promotes the formation of more than 20-25 large fruits per plant. The vegetative period is approximately 72-75 days from seedling transplant.

Daimos pepper fruits have a cube-shaped form with four chambers, characterized by uniformity and large size: weight varies from 250 to 350 grams, diameter reaches 8-10 cm, length — 10-12 cm. Fruit wall thickness is 8-10 mm, ensuring their density, crisp juicy flesh, and excellent flavor with pronounced aroma. In technical maturity, fruits are dark green, while in biological maturity — deep red, giving them an attractive market appearance. High dry matter content makes this hybrid particularly valuable for processing and drying.

Daimos pepper is distinguished by excellent transportability and long storage life, retaining nutritional properties and market appearance. The hybrid is resistant to common viral and bacterial diseases such as bacterial spot, potato Y-virus, and tobamovirus, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield up to 100 tons per hectare. Main applications of the fruits — fresh market sales, home cooking, and industrial processing.
