Gualda

Sweet Pepper Gualda F1 — an early hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Hazera. This variety is known for its hardiness and versatility, allowing cultivation both in open ground and in various types of greenhouses. The plant is low-growing, compact, with even fruit set and moderate growth vigor. Gualda F1 has high stress tolerance and regenerative ability, as well as resistance to major pepper viral diseases.

The fruits of the Gualda pepper have a cube-shaped form with four chambers, diameter of 9–10 cm, length of 10–11 cm, and wall thickness of 9–10 mm. Average fruit weight ranges from 220 to 250 grams. The vegetative period of the hybrid lasts 60–68 days, enabling very early harvest. Fruit color changes from green to vibrant yellow, with meaty, moderately dense, crisp flesh possessing a pleasant flavor and aroma.
