Bell pepper Vedrana F1

Vedrana F1 sweet pepper is an early-maturing hybrid with a cube-shaped form, developed by the Dutch seed company Enza Zaden. This variety is characterized by high productivity and early ripening, maturing on average in 60-75 days after transplanting. The plant has a strong and balanced growth, adapts well to various climatic conditions, and is suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground. Vedrana F1 also exhibits high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, ensuring stable yields and plant health.

The fruits of Vedrana pepper have a elongated-cube shape with dimensions of approximately 9-13 cm in length and 8-9 cm in width, with an average weight ranging from 220 to 260 grams. The wall thickness is 7-9 mm, giving the fruits a meaty and juicy texture. In the technical ripening stage, the fruits have a light shade — from white to yellowish with a greenish tint, while in biological ripeness, they turn into a vibrant orange-red color. The taste of the fruits is mild and pleasant with a slight sweetness, and the aroma is delicate, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for culinary processing, canning, and freezing.

One of the key advantages of the Vedrana hybrid is its excellent storability and ability to withstand transportation without loss of appearance or quality. This makes it in demand for early fresh produce markets. The plant exhibits high growth energy and abundant fruiting, contributing to a stable and abundant yield. Due to its adaptability and resilience to climatic conditions, Vedrana F1 is suitable for organic farming and can be successfully grown in various regions.
