The CUBIK pepper variety is a mid-season, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetative period from emergence to technical maturity of 105-110 days. The plant is robust, spreading, 60-80 cm tall, with dark green, medium-sized leaves. The fruits are cube-shaped, large, weighing 200-250 grams, with a glossy, slightly ribbed surface and wall thickness of 8-9 mm. In technical maturity, they are green, and in biological maturity, they have a deep red hue. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, aromatic, and rich in vitamin C, making this variety particularly valuable for healthy nutrition.
The CUBIK variety is distinguished by high yield, reaching 6.8-7.6 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and fruit cracking. The plants are well-branched, which helps protect the fruits and improves their quality. The fruits hang downward on the branches, facilitating harvest. Thanks to its tough skin and excellent storability, the pepper withstands transportation and storage well, preserving its flavor and commercial qualities.
This variety is versatile in use: the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and canning. For cultivation, sowing should be done in late February as seedlings, with transplanting in the greenhouse at the end of May, followed by removal of side shoots and tying plants to supports. The planting scheme is 40x60 cm, ensuring optimal conditions for growth and fruiting.
