Description Vizir
Vizir pepper is a medium-late variety of hot pepper of the Capsicum baccatum type with unusual flower-shaped fruits. The plant is tall, strong, semi-stemmed, reaching a height of 80 to 100 cm and having a branched semi-spreading form. The fruits are glossy, weighing 25–30 grams, with wall thickness of 2–3 mm, light green in technical maturity and vivid red upon full ripening. The flavor is mildly spicy, with a heat level of 2000–3000 SHU on the Scoville scale, making it suitable for various culinary purposes.

This variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield. Vizir pepper is ideal for cultivation in greenhouse covers of the middle belt and in open ground of southern regions. Due to its decorative appeal and attractive fruit appearance, it can also serve as an ornamental feature in gardens.

The fruits are widely used in cooking: they are used to make paprika, various sauces and pastes, as well as for pickling and preserving whole. The ripening period is 120–140 days, allowing for an extended fruiting period. Vizir pepper will be an excellent choice for those who appreciate the combination of taste, yield, and decorative qualities.
