Description CHUDO PODMOSKOV'YA
Chudo Podmokov'ya — an early-maturing variety of hot pepper, reaching technical maturity 95-110 days after germination. Plants are semi-spreading, tall, up to 135-150 cm high, weakly branched, which simplifies care and harvesting. Fruits are narrow-triangular, smooth and glossy, 20-25 cm long and 2.5-3 cm wide, with flesh thickness of 1-2 mm. The flesh is juicy, tender, and mildly spicy, with a pleasant specific aroma. Average fruit weight is 55-65 g, with up to 20 fruits ripening simultaneously on one plant.

This variety is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and under plastic coverings, and is also suitable for open ground in northern regions. Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of February — beginning of March, transplanting — in the cotyledon stage, and planting in the ground — at the end of May. Plant training is not required, and planting spacing is 40x60 cm. Yield reaches 2.3-4.2 kg per square meter, making this variety highly productive.

Chudo Podmokov'ya pepper is widely used in home cooking as a spicy-flavored seasoning in fresh and dried forms. Fruits are suitable for whole-fruit canning. Green peppers turn red upon ripening and retain well during drying, expanding their application and storage possibilities.
