Homera

Homera F1 hot pepper is an early, high-yielding hybrid developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The plant is medium-height and compact, with abundant foliage that protects fruits from sunburn and promotes stable fruiting even under adverse conditions. The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its durability and reliability when grown in open fields, greenhouses, or plastic tunnels.

Homera F1 fruits have an elongated-conical shape, uniform and attractive, measuring approximately 3-4 cm in diameter and up to 20-22 cm in length. In technical maturity, they are light green, and upon biological ripening, they turn bright red. The fruit skin is glossy, elastic, and slightly wrinkled, ensuring good storage and transportability over long distances without loss of appearance. The wall thickness is 2-3 mm, and the fruit weight ranges from 30 to 35 grams.

The pepper has a moderately spicy and flavorful taste, making it versatile for home cooking and preservation, especially for pickling. The fruits retain their flavor after heat treatment and prolonged storage. Due to its adaptability and resilience, the Homera F1 hybrid is ideal for cultivation in various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
