DRAGON TONGUE

Hot pepper variety "Dragon Tongue" is a mid-early hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic cover in greenhouses. The plant is bushy, vigorous, semi-spreading, reaching a height of 0.5 to 0.7 meters. The ripening period is approximately 100-110 days, allowing for a stable and regular harvest. This variety is distinguished by high yield — 3 to 4 kilograms of fruit can be harvested per square meter.

The peppers have a characteristic horn-shaped form, 10-12 cm long and about 0.8-1 cm wide, with wall thickness of approximately 4 mm. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 50 to 60 grams. In technical maturity, the fruits are green, while in biological maturity they turn to a glossy bright red. The fruit surface is slightly wavy, with two chambers inside. The pepper has a pleasant, specific spicy aroma and pronounced heat, rated 7 points on the heat scale.

The "Dragon Tongue" variety is widely used in cooking: the fruits are suitable for making paprika, various sauces and pastes, and are also excellent for marinating and preserving. Due to its resistance to many diseases and ability to withstand long-distance transport without losses, this pepper is an excellent choice for both commercial cultivation and private farms. Successful cultivation requires regular watering, weed control, and fertilization.
