Description Tamara
Tamara pepper is a mid-early hybrid characterized by high yield and versatility. Plants of this variety are compact, ranging from 40 to 70 cm in height, with dense foliage and semi-spreading form. Tamara’s fruits are large, weighing 250 to 300 grams, with a flat-round shape, slight ribbing, and thick, fleshy walls of 9-10 mm. In technical ripeness, the fruits are light green, and in biological ripeness, they turn to a vibrant yellow, making them attractive for fresh consumption and processing.

The Tamara hybrid exhibits high resistance to pests, diseases including verticillium wilt, as well as adverse weather conditions and tobacco mosaic virus. Thanks to these qualities, it is successfully grown both in open ground and under greenhouses, making it suitable for various climatic conditions and types of farming — from large agribusinesses to home vegetable gardens of hobbyists.

Tamara pepper fruits have excellent flavor, suitable for fresh salads, winter preservation, various culinary dishes, and freezing. The hybrid has high market appeal, good transportability, and stable yield quality throughout the season, which lasts approximately 68-72 days from seedling transplanting to the first harvest.
