BARCHUK

The Barchuk pepper variety is early maturing, ripening within 105-110 days, and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is compact, medium-height, reaching 60-70 cm, which facilitates care and harvest. The fruits are cylindrical with a characteristic downward position, have a strong gloss, and feature a bright coloration: they are dark green in technical ripeness, and deep red in biological ripeness.

Fruit weight varies from 100 to 150 grams, with a wall thickness of 5-6 mm, ensuring juicy and sweet flesh. Each plant simultaneously bears 7 to 11 fruits, contributing to high yield — up to 5-6 kg per square meter. The variety is resistant to diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

Barchuk is versatile in application due to its high flavor quality and dense fruit structure. It is recommended for cultivation in temperate regions, including areas of Russia. The optimal planting period is March-April, and harvesting can be conducted from May to October, allowing for fresh fruits over an extended season.
