Svitozar

Svitozar — a mid-season sweet pepper variety developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences. The maturation period is 117-125 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plant is low-growing, compact, and bushy, facilitating care and fruit harvesting.

The fruits have a cube-like shape and reach a length of 9-10 centimeters with a weight of 120-130 grams. In technical maturity, they are yellow-green, while in biological maturity, they turn bright red. The wall thickness is 6-9 millimeters, ensuring high flavor quality and fruit density. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its reliability during cultivation.

Svitozar is excellent for fresh consumption and canning. Its high yield allows harvesting up to 36.5-42 tons of pepper per hectare. This variety is valued for its taste, beneficial properties, and versatility, making it a popular choice among vegetable growers.
