Marinda F1

Marinda F1 cucumber is a super-early parthenocarpic hybrid developed by the Dutch seed company Seminis. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity — fruits are ready for harvest as early as 40-45 days after planting. Marinda F1 produces uniform, large-buckled, cylindrical dark-green fruits with excellent texture and juicy flesh without bitterness. Due to its characteristics, the hybrid is ideal for producing gherkins, as well as for fresh consumption and processing.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield and stable productivity: with adequate nutrition, 6-7 fruits form on each node. Marinda F1 is versatile in cultivation methods — it grows successfully both in plastic and glass greenhouses and in open ground, using horizontal and vertical cultivation methods, including trellis cultivation. This adaptability makes it attractive for various agronomic conditions.

Special attention has been paid to the variety's resistance to major cucumber diseases. Marinda F1 has high resistance to powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and cucumber mosaic virus, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and decreasing the need for frequent application of chemical protective agents.
