Description Lira Spark
Lira Spark — an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper type Kapia, developed by Spark Seeds (USA). The plant is characterized by its compactness and strong root system, as well as a well-developed leaf canopy that effectively protects the fruits from sunburn. The vegetation period is 55–65 days after transplanting, allowing for a quick harvest both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.

The fruits of Lira Spark have a distinctive straight conical shape, 22–25 cm long and about 7 mm thick. The average fruit weight varies from 180 to 220 grams. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its rich dark-red color and rapid fruit coloring, which enhances its attractiveness and quality. The hybrid is resistant to blossom end rot, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses during cultivation.

High yield is one of the key advantages of Lira Spark. With proper care, one plant can produce up to 3–4 kg of fruit, and at a planting density of about 35,000 plants per hectare, the potential yield can reach 105–140 tons per hectare. These characteristics make Lira Spark an excellent choice for commercial cultivation both in open ground and under greenhouse conditions.
