Caraflex F1

Caraflex F1 cabbage is an early hybrid developed by the seed company Bejo Zaden from the Netherlands. This variety is intended for cultivation on non-acidic loamy soils and is characterized by rapid maturity — about 76 days. The plant forms an elevated rosette of gray-green leaves with wavy edges and a light waxy coating of moderate intensity. Leaves are small or medium-sized, blistered, giving the plant an attractive appearance.

The Caraflex F1 head has a conical shape, partially covered, with a snowy-white interior color. The head weight is approximately 1.2–2 kg, with density rated at 4 points. The outer core is short, and the inner core is of medium length. The fruit exhibits resistance to cracking and retains good quality under field conditions, ensuring high product quality during storage and transport. The variety is resistant to fusarium wilt, enhancing its reliability and disease resistance.

Caraflex F1 is recommended for fresh consumption, especially during summer, and is also suitable for processing. The recommended planting rate is 50,000 plants per hectare, which ensures a marketable yield of approximately 254 centners per hectare and a maximum yield of up to 300 centners per hectare. The marketable output reaches 89%, making this hybrid profitable for commercial cultivation and fresh market sales.
