Pepper Romeo

Romeo pepper is an early-maturing hybrid, ripening in 105-110 days. The plant is spreading and medium-height, about 60-65 cm. The fruits are drooping, prism-shaped or cylindrical, with a smooth and glossy surface. In technical maturity, they are light cream-colored, and in biological maturity, they turn bright yellow-orange. Fruit weight varies from 80 to 130 grams, with a wall thickness of 6-8 mm, ensuring good fleshiness and attractive appearance. The Romeo hybrid is highly productive, yielding up to 108 centners per hectare in open ground. It is resistant to diseases, which contributes to intensive and abundant fruiting. Thanks to excellent taste and moderate aroma, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, home cooking, and canning. Additionally, the pepper tolerates transportation well, making it popular for large-scale production. Romeo is versatile and suitable for cultivation in open ground as well as in plastic greenhouses. Its compact spreading plant and stable fruiting ensure convenient agronomy and high production efficiency. This hybrid will be an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a high-quality, flavorful sweet pepper harvest.
