F1 Alphabet — a bee-pollinated, early-maturing, bush-type hybrid cucumber with female flowering, suitable for open and protected ground. Begins fruiting on day 39-42 after emergence. Branching is medium or below medium. Forms 2-4 to 6-10 fruits per node. Cucumbers are knobby (with medium frequency of knobs), black-spined, oval-cylindrical in shape, 8-11 cm long, 3.0-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 90-115 g. Salt-tolerant and flavor qualities are very high. Designed for barrel pickling and also for canning mini-cucumbers in jars. Resistant to olive spot, common cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, tolerant to downy mildew. Sow 10% pollinator alongside. Pollinator seeds are included in each hybrid packet.
Planting density in open ground: 3-5 plants/m2, in greenhouses: 2.5-3 plants/m2.
